Update: Content

I have finally put up ‘most’ of the Dr. Piston archives that I was supplied with from ‘Virago Joe’. The old site files were sent to him by no other than the Original Dr. Piston himself. So I can fully be confident in saying that this site has the consent to host this information. I have plenty of small issues within the archives that I still have to address such as linking images, linking diagrams, and other small issues to be fixed. As a whole though the main of the content is now up and ready to be used. I will be removing the comment feature from the main site articles. If you want to discuss anything it must be done through the forum area. I think this is a good decision, as I do not see any advantage in cluttering up the articles with comments below them. If you see something you want to talk about or that needs changed address it through the website comment area of the forums. I added a ‘Tech Articles’ Menu to the right. This is where, over time, the main site information will be linked to and available through. The Dr. Piston archives are just that… archives. They are not meant to be added to or changed in any way except in functionality. The ‘Tech Articles’ menu will be the place where our new Virago Help articles will go and those will indeed be updated and changed as necessary. I can’t hold back and MUST show a picture of my girl. My true love. She is a 1982 1st Gen XV750J Virago. I got her on the cheap and have been slowly going through her to make her long trip ready. She isn’t cleaned up that great yet. But she still looks good. Once I address everything mechanical I will then start on the visual. Here she is……
